AUTHORIZED GAS TESTING (AGT) COURSE OVERVIEW
The Authorized Gas Tester’s role is one of the critical roles in testing which ensures in providing a safe working atmosphere, in particular for the Permit controlled confined spaces; it includes testing prior to and during hot work for both open and enclosed spaces. It will enable one to read and interpret correctly the information obtained from the gas detection means available. The Course consists of 3 levels which help in the demarcation of the competency for the type of the area to be monitored. In this case, one level is not higher than the other two levels.

Who should attend Training?
This training is to have opted for personnel who is preparing to work as Authorized Gas Testers as well as required for that personnel who are involved with performing a test for oxygen, flammable and toxic gases, including working in confined spaces and hot work.
