HAZARD IDENTIFICATION / COMMUNICATION COURSE OVERVIEW
Employers are obliged to have a written Hazard Communication Program (HCP) if their employees are to be exposed to hazardous chemicals. HazCom training requires the presence of hazardous chemicals that is to be communicated to employees in a variety ways of training. Information must be provided to any employees who have the potential of being exposed to a hazardous chemical "under normal condition of use or in a for seeable emergency."

- Introduction and objectives
- Identify the purpose and requirements of a Hazard Communication Program
- Identify types of chemical hazards and hazard controls
- Identify the sources of information for workplace chemical hazards
- Responsibilities and Emergency contact

- Learn the Standards and Identify Responsible Personnel.
- Prepare and Implement a Written HazCom Program.
- Ensure Containers are Labeled.
- Maintain Safety Data Sheets (SDSs)
- Inform and Train Employees.
- Evaluate and Reassess the Program.

Employee who are completing assessments of hazardous chemicals and implementing controls, maintenance, operation, Manager, Worker, store-keeper and HSE personnel’s.
